Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Services

Radiation Oncology
The Requard Radiation Oncology Center provides patients with a full spectrum of radiation therapy services that use advanced equipment and techniques to provide precise treatments for tumor types and locations – often with the benefit of sparing healthy tissue and reducing side effects.

Surgical Services
Surgery is often the preferred treatment method for many cancers and may be performed together with radiation and/or chemotherapy. Surgical procedures are used for the treatment and management of a variety of tumors including breast cancer, melanoma, endocrine tumors and colorectal cancer. UM Shore Medical Group specialists in breast health, surgical care, urology and women's health are among the local providers who perform cancer surgery.
Medical Oncology and Hematology
Medical oncologists and oncology support staff work with you and your caregiver to develop a customized cancer treatment plan. This plan includes consultations, cancer treatments and continuous follow-up care at every stage of your recovery.
Oncology Rehabilitation
Oncology rehabilitation services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, swallowing therapy, lymphedema therapy, speech and voice therapy, and exercise therapy for fatigue and other symptoms. Therapies are provided in collaboration with UM Shore Regional Health Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services.
Preventive Screenings
In collaboration with local physicians and community partners, the Cancer Center offers a number of preventive screenings throughout the year, including screenings for skin, breast, lung and prostate cancer. All screenings are free and open to the public. Under-insured and uninsured are encouraged to participate.
