The emergency center at UM Shore Regional Health at Cambridge provides 24/7 care for severe, life- and limb-threatening conditions. The entrance is accessible from the main drive on the right side of the hospital.
We see patients of all ages. Pediatric patients needing a higher level of care may be transferred to another facility. For patients who are experiencing a mental health crisis or who have been sexually assaulted, we can provide evaluations and referrals in addition to medical and psychiatric care.
What to Expect at the Emergency Center: Our priority is to treat each person in our emergency rooms as fully, safely and quickly as possible. We see patients based on how serious their conditions are. Patients are not seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
UM Shore Regional Health accepts most forms of health insurance. For patient co-payments and deductibles, payment options include credit cards, debit cards, paper or electronic checks, or online bill pay (mychart.umms.org). Effective April 1, 2024, this location is cashless.
