Willow Construction, LLC, recently made gifts totaling $2,000 to UM Memorial Hospital Foundation in celebration of the company's 50th anniversary. The gifts are designated to benefit patient care programs at the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center and the Cancer Center at UM Shore Regional Health.

"We wanted to recognize deserving groups in the communities where we've completed projects over the years," said Bernard Andy Cheezum, Jr., Vice President of Willow Construction. "To mark this significant anniversary, we are making charitable donations each month this year that will total $50,000 by December 31."

The first donations, made in June, included the Avalon Foundation's Mortgage Lifter Program, as well as the Cancer Center and the Breast Center. "We're tremendously grateful to these three organizations for the invaluable services they provide to residents of the Delmarva region," said Cheezum.

"These gifts will support the quality patient care we provide at the Cancer Center and the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center," said Jeanie Scott, Director of Oncology Services for Shore Regional Health. "We are honored to be included among Willow Construction's 50th anniversary gift recipients."
