Danielle M. Wilson, MSN, RN, NE-BC, has joined UM Shore Regional Health as Director of Patient Care Services Operations. Wilson has over 17 years of experience in acute and chronic care management, nursing leadership, and hospital administration.

Members of the Chester River Yacht & Country Club organized and participated in the 11th annual Pink Polar Bear Golf Tournament on Sunday, July 24, raising over $2,600 to benefit patients served in the Eleanor & Ethel Leh Women's Center at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. This year's event attracted 65 club members and guests.

Tristen Holloway, CNM, WHNP-BC, and Angie Price, DNP, WHNP-BC, RNC-OB/C-EFM have joined the University of Maryland Shore Medical Group – Women's Health as new providers. Holloway and Price join Javier Cajina, MD, Palak Doshi, MD, and Audrey Drummey, MD; nurse practitioners Jennifer Dyott and Dale Jafari; and certified nurse midwives Molly Bernish, Sunny Granger and Lauren Rosales in the practice.

University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown has been awarded designation as a Level 2 Age-Friendly Health System (AFHS) by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

The Cancer Program at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health has been granted a three-year reaccreditation by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) following a review of its programs, services and facilities. UM Shore Regional Health’s Laboratory Services Department recently sent a “We Care” package to the lab team at Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde, Texas, following the tragic Robb Elementary School shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead.
