To ensure the highest quality health care for our patients, University of Maryland Medical Centers at Chestertown, Dorchester and Easton regularly participate in a national accreditation process conducted by The Joint Commission.

The Joint Commission is an independent, not for profit organization that sets standards for measuring health care quality and safety, and the safety of the environment in which that care is provided.
