UM St. Joseph Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute

The UM St. Joseph Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute is devoted to providing physical and communicative rehab to patients as they recover from surgery, injury or a health condition.

We employ a staff of experienced professionals who utilize innovative techniques designed to relieve pain, as well as strengthen and re-train muscles.

Our comprehensive outpatient therapy includes:

The UM St. Joseph Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute is located at UM St. Joseph Medical Center on the third floor of the Cancer Institute. Parking is free and conveniently located in the parking lot directly behind the Cancer Institute.

UM St. Joseph Rehabilitation Institute is part of The University of Maryland Rehabilitation Network (UMRN): a coordinated system of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation providers working together to help people recover from illness or injury, such as stroke, joint replacement or traumatic injury.

Scheduling and Billing

Services are available by appointment only. A physician's or dentist's prescription is required for therapy. As a courtesy, we bill insurance companies directly and accept assignment for Medicare and Medicaid.
