Departmental Scope of Services

We are extremely proud of our newly constructed 41 bed unit. The care we provide is governed by our guiding principles which focus on our patients and their families. We bring our services to our customers. Our families are invited to stay with their loved ones. We focus on minimizing delays from the time of admission to discharge.

Types of patients served

We serve a wide variety of patients that require cardiac, renal and other related vascular interventions as well as patients requiring diagnostic procedures.

Overview of Department Services

We utilize the TEAM approach to best serve our customers. We support our six catheterization labs from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. plus have an on-call team every weekend and holiday. Our staff is cross-trained to match our patient acuity and need. Our goal is to flex our hours of operation to accommodate our patient's length of stay. We include families in patient education and treatment. We have amenities available to families which cover spiritual, financial and personal needs including cell phone use and free wireless connection.

Staffing Model

Our staff has telemetry and critical care experience with ACLS certification. Our nurse:patient ratio is 1:3-4. Our staff is supported by a team of qualified Physician Assistants, and an ANCC credentialed and CCRN certified patient care coordinator.
