Support staff

In times of need, community support becomes a lifeline. At the heart of the UM Upper Chesapeake, the Klein Family Center, Cancer LifeNet, and Senator Bob Hooper House stand as pillars of hope and healing, providing essential services to individuals and families during their most challenging moments. These vital services remain accessible only through the generosity of donors like you. Your contribution ensures that our community members continue to receive the care, guidance, and support they need—when they need it most.

Klein Family Center

The Klein Family Center, located in Bel Air, MD, provides access to behavioral, mental and addiction health services in a safe and comfortable environment for adults and children ages five and over. This public-private partnership offers urgent care, outpatient, and inpatient residential services. Philanthropic gifts from individuals, families, and community partners ensure these services remain available to local residents during their time of need.

Cancer LifeNet

Sometimes the unknown is the biggest fear when receiving a cancer diagnosis. Cancer LifeNet provides nurse navigation and a variety of supportive care services for all cancer patients and their loved ones in our community, regardless of where their cancer treatment is received. Cancer LifeNet services are free and are funded fully through philanthropy.

Senator Bob Hooper House

Senator Bob Hooper House is UM Upper Chesapeake Health's assisted living facility that specializes in hospice care. The Hooper House provides compassionate, full-service end-of-life care to residents and their loved ones in a homelike setting.  Philanthropic gifts supporting the Hooper House ensure no resident is turned away for the inability to pay.
