The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) provides outpatient care for cancer patients in a 25,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, the Roslyn and Leonard Stoler Pavilion.
The center provides a comfortable and convenient home base for cancer center patients and their families. The facility is designed to provide easy access to our comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment. New patients see a surgical oncologist, a radiation oncologist and a medical oncologist all in one visit, without ever having to leave the outpatient center.
The Stoler Pavilion is located just inside the main University of Maryland Medical Center lobby and is named for Baltimore area businessman Leonard Stoler and his wife, Roslyn, who donated $5 million for the outpatient center.
The Stoler Pavilion houses all the major outpatient services for the cancer center:
The treatment area is designed around our multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and caring for cancer patients. Exam rooms are clustered in pods with meeting rooms where teams of doctors can meet to review care plans and discuss the best treatment options for patients. Radiation Oncology is located a short walk from the Stoler Pavilion, on the ground floor of the South Lobby formerly known as Gudelsky Lobby.
To help minimize the infection risk for our patients, children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Stoler Pavilion.
