Melissa Lambdin

Chief of Staff, University of Maryland Medical Center

Melissa Lambdin serves as the Vice President and Chief of Staff for UMMC. As Chief of Staff, Melissa works directly with UMMC's executive leadership team, the Board of Directors, and our UMB and School of Medicine partners as well as our System colleagues. She is responsible for strategic management support to the senior leadership team and works to advance the strategic and operational objectives of the organization.

Melissa brings more than 20 years of health care experience specializing in marketing and strategic communications at both the executive and board levels. Formerly serving in Marketing Communications leadership roles at MedStar Health and Frederick Health, and most recently as the Vice President of Marketing at Canton and Company, Melissa is well-versed in leading cross-functional teams, particularly within hospitals and health systems.
