Botox Treatments and Injectable Fillers
What is Botox?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the first and only FDA-approved treatment that temporarily relieves moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines in adults.
How does Botox work?
Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows causes the skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity, making the skin noticeably smoother,
Who is a candidate?
Age doesn't determine when BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for you, only the severity of your skin. Whenever your lines start to bother you, make an appointment with one of our plastic surgeons to determine if treatment is right for you.
How long does Botox last?
You may begin to notice results within 48 hours, lasting up to four months.. However, every patient is different and results may vary. Ask your doctor about expectations based on results and aesthetic goals.
