Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Comprehensive Evaluations and Individualized Treatment
Initially, a child will be seen for a general psychiatric evaluation. Patients or their family may be asked to complete some questionnaires that will assist the clinician in ensuring a child receives the proper services. A child's teachers may be asked to complete a questionnaire as well. Based on these findings, we will devise a customized treatment program that encourages patients to work to their greatest potential and empowers families to assist their children at home.
Multidisciplinary Team of Specialists
The benefit of the multidisciplinary team approach is rapid assessment and treatment. Our team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, educational specialists, occupational therapists, registered nurses specializing in psychiatry, mental health associates, and a dietitian for inpatients. Our team of professionals works intensively with the referring clinician and the patient's family to ensure the high expectations for treatment and discharge are met.
