Mamava Pod: Pumping Options for Visitors

University of Maryland Medical Center provides a private and secure suite for nursing mothers who need to pump. The Mamava Pod encompasses:

• Bench
• Fold-down table for pump and supplies
• Dual outlet and USB port
• Mirror

The pod is located in the Weinberg Atrium behind the elevators and the UMMC pharmacy.

There are many Mamava Pods in the Baltimore area. By downloading the app you can find other Mamava pods or other lactation spaces near you.

Breastfeeding

UMMC welcomes mothers to nurse their baby anywhere in the hospital. However, the Mamava Pod is available to you if you would like a more private space for you and your baby. The space is big enough to fit a stroller and has bench seating for you and your baby.
