Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship

At the University of Maryland, we are committed to providing comprehensive fellowship training that will prepare fellows for a successful career in Neonatology.
Our program is designed to balance clinical experience and scholarly work to ensure the development of specialty-specific knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking skills. Our large and varied patient population will provide experience with a wide variety neonatal disease processes.
In 2015, we expanded our NICU to a new state of the art, 52-bed, family-centered NICU!
A broad range of research opportunities are available at University of Maryland. For interested individuals, clinical fellowship can be combined with a Masters in Clinical Sciences, Masters in Public Health, or PhD for Clinicians Program.
Our fellowship meets all requirements of the Residency Review Committee for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Salary and Benefits
View the annual stipends for all residents at the University of Maryland. All Fellows are provided with professional liability insurance through the University of Maryland Medical Center at no personal cost. Health insurance, life insurance, retirement and other benefits are offered if you elect to participate. All Fellows are allotted 20 vacation days annually.
