Didactic Program

Our didactic program involves teaching conferences several days a week. We have an ongoing weekly didactics conference focused on case review, journal club and morbidity/mortality, as well as indications conference to review all of the fellows previous week's cases and the upcoming ones.

The fellow has scheduled time and 24/7 access to the on-campus arthroscopic cadaver lab for improvement in surgical skills. Fellows also have the opportunity to travel to numerous industry and society sponsored courses throughout the year.

Research Program

Our targeted research program is well funded and employs full time research assistants. The program performs ongoing, randomized controlled trials, multicenter clinical research and federally funded animal model rotator cuff research.

The fellow will have the time and resources to participate in high quality basic science and clinical research. The trainee will learn key principles to grow their own funded research program.
