ACLS/BLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support)

The hospital requires the following programs to complete ACLS/BLS training:

  • Internal Medicine
  • Anesthesia
  • Surgery
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • OB/GYN
  • OMF Surgery
  • ENT
  • Neuro Surgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Orthopaedic Surgery

The residents will do the online modules for ACLS and BLS (depending on need), and only the skills session will be in-person. Please look for an email with more information from Brandi Thomas, brandi.thomas@umm.edu.

**As a reminder- if the ACLS and/or BLS certifications expire within 6 months of starting, the trainee will need to renew in June. If the certifications expire 6 months or later, after their start date, they will renew at a later date and not in June.
