Our Residents – Diagnostic Radiology Residency | University of Maryland Medical Center

In the UM Department of Radiology, fun is part of our daily activities! We enjoy our work and earnestly support each other.

First year residents can rely on senior residents for mentorship and guidance. Upper year residents can rely on each other for call duties. Fourth year residents enjoy a flexible schedule with their choice of electives and ample time for research.

Each of our residents receives a $2,000 educational stipend. These funds can be spent at the discretion of the resident for educational materials and for professional expenses. Residents also receive free access to STATdx and RADPrimer. American Board of Radiology fees are paid by the department.
