Advocacy During Residency

At University of Maryland, we encourage our residents to invest in the Baltimore community and become strong advocates for their patients and neighbors. Residents can participate in a longitudinal Advocacy Track and develop a project to support the Baltimore community throughout their time in residency (See Specialty Tracks for more details).

Each year we participate in the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics Advocacy Day at our State Capitol.
