University of Maryland Medical Center is the Medical System's flagship academic medical center. The hospital provides comprehensive care for the West Baltimore community and tertiary care for Maryland and the surrounding areas.
University of Maryland Capital Region Health is the largest health care system headquartered in Prince George's County. The system is comprised of UM Capital Region Medical Center, UM Laurel Medical Center and UM Bowie Health Center. In addition, UM Capital Region Health Medical Group offers primary care and specialty care at offices in Bowie, Largo, Laurel, National Harbor and Suitland.
UM Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute is the state's largest rehabilitation and orthopedic hospital serving both adults and children. It also houses the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine.

When needed, our patients receive seamless referrals to the full UMMS network of services.
Since 1922, Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) has played a key role in children's health care throughout the Baltimore region, offering sophisticated medical care in a family-friendly atmosphere. Children are able to heal, grow, go home stronger and learn the skills that lead to happier, more independent lives. MWPH is jointly owned and operated by the University of Maryland Medical System and John Hopkins Medicine.
