Leaders in Medicine – Leaders in Philanthropy
The BWMC Foundation Medical Staff Giving Society is committed to supporting health care excellence, community wellness, medical career advancement and philanthropic giving. Our devoted group of medical leaders — physicians and advanced practice providers — advances the mission of UM BWMC and the BWMC Foundation.
Giving Society Goals
Our generous and tireless society is made up of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). Together, we promote and join efforts to:
- Improve the wellbeing of all patients, especially those with the greatest need
- Encourage philanthropic giving to UM BWMC
- Strengthen the financial core of our institution
- Enhance resources at our care facilities
- Support community health (through volunteering and other outreach initiatives)
- Create opportunities for team member education and career advancement
- Invest in programs for employee morale, wellness, resiliency and assistance
